Manchester Gospel Choir opens Sedbergh Music Festival

On Sunday 1 June the Choir headed 75 miles north to St Andrew’s Church in the picturesque Cumbrian town of Sedbergh, to perform an early evening concert to open its annual Music Festival. The event, the first in a fortnight of 24 wide-ranging musical events was well attended and, from the comments afterwards as the choir mingled over refreshments, very much appreciated by the audience.
