Concert raises £455.48 for Scripture Union’s work in Malawi

It was a joy to sing at Hill Lane Baptist Church, Briercliffe on Saturday 27 May.  The choir enjoyed itself immensely and greatly appreciated the wonderful hospitality shown to us.

The generous audience donated £455.48 for Scripture Union’s work in Malawi, in Southeast Africa. This work is directly supported by two church members who will be visiting the country later this summer. We wish them every blessing as they share God’s love with others.

The money raised will fund work with children and young people in Malawi and we are pleased to be able to play just a tiny part in this valuable work.
