Concert benefits Barnabus to tune of £460

Our concert in aid of Barnabus last night at Greenmount URC was organised by Ramsbottom Churches Together who support this local charity. The audience learned of the work of Barnabus who this year celebrate their 25th anniversary.

The concert was very well received by the large audience who mainly came from the churches in the Ramsbottom area. The choir sang a mixed programme of songs and introduced a number of Christmas songs to the evening to coincide with the number of Christmas lights being switched on locally.

This was the third concert the Manchester Gospel Choir has performed in support of the work of Barnabus and brings the amount raised so far to £2000 to help homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester.
